a Sense of the Season
With an unexpected dumping of snow, we’re reminded of how yet another season is upon us. For some it’s A Sense of the Season ski season, snowmobile season, the season of giving, cooking and baking season, and-already come and gone again-Thanksgiving season. For some, winter is about isolation, feeling depressed, and a time when freedom to do the things we like is curtailed. Maybe you are buried in winter when it comes to your spiritual life. You’re cold-hearted toward God, or others. In this message, reflect on what may be causing “spiritual winter”, and on the gift that we all possess, which is capable of giving us a warm heart once again.
